Payment Policy

Dublin City Bike Tours does not charge your credit card at the time of booking.

Your credit card is required to guarantee your booking.

Payment is made on the day of your tour at our office by cash.

Cancellation Policy

Please note: If a confirmation email is not received immediately after booking with us, please check your spam folder and inform us.

A cancellation received more than 48 hours (2 days) prior to a clients scheduled tour date will not incur any fee.

A cancellation received within 48 hours of a clients scheduled tour date or a no-show will incur full cost of the tour booked.

PLEASE READ THE TERMS & CONDITIONS BELOW CAREFULLY. IT CONTAINS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT MAY APPLY TO YOU.

"Dublin City Bike Tours" (Part 1 of 2 )

Participation is subject to the acceptance by the client to the following terms and conditions:

Cycling Tour

The cycling tours will be held according to the attached program found in annex A).

Dublin City Bike Tours provides clients with bicycles and helmets that will be delivered in perfect working condition and which must be returned by the client in the same condition at the end of the tour.

Participants will be accompanied during the tour by English speaking tour escorts.

The price for the tour amounts to €24.00 per person or €20.00 per student. (valid i.d. required), taxes inclusive. Payment can be made in cash not by credit card at our office on the day of scheduled tour.

In the event that bookings do not reach the minimum number of participants, (on afternoon tours, Northrider and full day Downhill to Dublin/Coast to Howth tours) the service as defined within this agreement will not be provided and any deposit that has been made by the client (if applicable) will be refunded.

The excursion will not take place in the case of adverse weather conditions or extraordinary events. In each of these cases, Dublin City Bike Tours withholds the right to use its own discretion when evaluating the appropriateness of tours.

In such cases, no refund will be applicable to the customer.

In the case of the cancellation of a tour, for reasons other than those provided in the preceding two paragraphs, the customer is entitled to a refund (if applicable) of the amount paid, or, if the client so decides, the client will be entitled to participate in one subsequent tour scheduled in the following seven days after the cancellation. The replacement tour will be of equivalent value and duration. Should the client decide to participate in a substitute trip, they will renounce any refund claims that they were initially entitled to.

Participants of the tour affirm that they are entirely responsible for their own actions, and that any claim for damages to the company Dublin City Bike Tours are waived. In particular, clients declare that:

  • they are able to ride a bike safely;
  • they are of good health;
  • they know the Irish Road Rules.

Participants must be present at the agreed tour meeting point 30 minutes before departure. No refund will be provided to the individuals that are not present at the agreed meeting time and place and no refund will be provided to those that lose contact with the group guide or in the case that they do not complete the tour.

Participants must provide the organization with a valid ID (passport, identity card and visa and health certificates should they be so requested).

Participants in the excursion are required to practice common sense, prudence and diligence, particularly in relation to the equipment provided by the company during the excursion, of which the participants agree to use at their own risk.

Participants have the right to take out and purchase personal insurance to cover potential damages to their person, third parties or equipment.

Dublin City Bike Tours waives all claims for damages made against them, and accepts no liability for any damage to the participant, third parties and equipment caused during tours.

The organization does not assume responsibility for loss of baggage, money, valuables or other items during the trip.

Participants will be held responsible for any damage to the equipment provided to them by the company Dublin City Bike Tours.

Participants are liable for all damages that Dublin City Bike Tours may endure due to the failure to comply with the above mentioned obligations.

The client expressly accepts the following points:

  • 4) minimum number of participants;
  • 5) exceptional events;
  • 7) participation requirements;
  • 8) schedule;
  • 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) responsibilities;

PROPOSAL OF AGREEMENT ( Part 2 of 2)

PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES

The preliminary part to this agreement, and annexes as signed by the parties, form an essential and integral part of this document.

The company Dublin City Bike Tours organizes guided bike tours in the city of Dublin and surrounding areas in a program called "Dublin City Bike Tours" between March November and provided in annex "A".

The reservation request must be made on the provided electronic contract form, fully accepted or signed by the customer.

Acceptance of a reservation shall be considered complete when the client receives confirmation of acceptance of the parts from Dublin City Bike Tours Confirmation may also be provided through electronic means.

Services described in pact No. 1 will be provided in date mm / dd / yyyy .

The fee for the service offered by the Company Dublin City Bike Tours amounts to €24.00 per person - students/seniors €20.00 (valid id required).

Non scheduled tours are individually priced and on request.

This amount may be paid by cash not credit card at our office.

In the event that the client recedes from this agreement within 2 days before the date specified in the pact No. 4, no notice will have been deemed to have been given. In this case the Company will Charge the entire amount paid and this agreement shall be automatically terminated.

In the event that bookings do not reach the minimum number of participants (2) participants, the service as defined in pact no. 1 will not be provided and any deposit that has been made by the client will be refunded.

The tour will not take place in the case of adverse weather conditions or extraordinary events. In each of these cases, the company Dublin City Bike Tours withholds the right to use its own discretion when evaluating the appropriateness of excursions. In such cases, no refund will be applicable to the customer.

In the event that before the departure the organizer communicates in writing his unwillingness to provide the services under this contract and proposes an alternative solution, the customer can either exercise the right to be entirely refunded or decide to join an alternative service.

The customer may exercise these rights even when the cancellation depends on the failure to achieve the minimum number of participants described in the preceding paragraph.

Participants on the tour are also required to practice common sense, prudence and diligence, with particular reference to the equipment provided by the company during the tour, of which the participants agree to use at their own risk.

Participants have the right to take out and purchase an insurance policy to cover potential damages to their person, third parties or equipment.

Dublin City Bike Tours waives all claims for damages made against them, and accepts no liability for any damage to the participant, third parties and equipment caused during excursions.

The organization does not assume responsibility for loss of baggage, money, valuables or other items during the trip.

Participants of the excursion affirm that they are entirely responsible for their own actions, and that any claim for damages to the company Active Dublin City Bike Tours. In particular, clients declare that:

The parties agree that any dispute that may arise out of the interpretation or the application of this Agreement must be resolved exclusively by the Court of Dublin. Any other court of law is expressly waived.

Participants must provide the organization with a valid ID (passport, identity card and visa and health certificates should they be so requested).

Participants on the tour are required to practice common sense, prudence and diligence, particularly with reference to the equipment provided by the company during the tour.

Participants are liable for all damages that the Dublin City Bike Tours may endure due to the failure to comply to the above mentioned obligations.

  • 6) withdrawal;
  • 7) minimum number of participants;
  • 11, 12, 13, 14,17) responsibility;
  • 15) Jurisdiction
